Louis Cornacchia, III, M.D., F.A.C.S.
President and CEO

Louis Cornacchia, M.D. is President and CEO of Doctations.Inc. Dr. Cornacchia is a graduate of Columbia College (82) and NYU School of Medicine (87). He is a board certified neurosurgeon with a practice in Nassau County, New York. The concepts underlying Doctations.were developed by Dr. Cornacchia over a nine-year period of research and development. He is dedicated to improving healthcare by providing Doctations.services for doctors and a portal called iMedicalHome? for patients. He believes that technology can overcome many of the problems facing healthcare today, including soaring costs, physician discontent and the medical malpractice crisis. Doctations.is the first step toward that solution.

 

Jack Mortell
Executive Vice President

Jack Mortell is Executive Vice President of the company. He joined Doctations, Inc. in March, 2007 and supports the President and CEO on business related focus areas of responsibility. He has over 43 years of business management experience in executive positions in both small and large corporations.
After graduating from St. John’s University, he began his career with the IBM Corporation and over 30 years, based on performance, moved continually into senior management positions of increasing responsibilities. These included VP & CFO of IBM’s Asia Pacific Group with annual revenues of $3.5 billion and VP & COO of IBM’s National Distribution Group with annual revenues of $7 billion. He left IBM to successfully manage several start-up companies including NorthPoint Software & Services LLC, which became a leading provider of risk and value management software and consulting services to the IT Industry. He was President & COO of NorthPoint for approximately 9 years, the lifespan of the company. Under his management, NorthPoint provided services to leading corporations including EDS, American Express, IBM, Emerson, as well as, to the U.S. Government and had attractive financials results including an operating profit margin in excess of 50%.

Peter Benton
Chief Technology Officer

Peter Benton is a graduate of CCNY Engineering (73) specializing in linguistics, artificial intelligence, and human/machine interfaces. He received his MBA from Bradley University (78). He served as a senior consultant and engagement manager for Arthur Anderson & Co. He developed a variety of electronic information products and services for several McGraw-Hill operating companies and in 1990 served as Corporate Vice President and Chief Scientist at McGraw-Hill, Inc. He now consults to a range of companies on eCommerce, product and technology planning, business process and operations planning, knowledge management and strategic marketing.

 

Joachim Do
Director of Software Development

Joachim M. Do is the Director of Software Development at Doctations, joining the company in 2006. He received his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from SUNY at Buffalo in 1997. He has had extensive experience developing cutting edge internet technologies, including pioneering Webswitch appliances with Arrowpoint Communications, a startup company later acquired by Cisco Systems. He has a track record of leading teams to successfully implement various complex n-tiered, eCommerce-enabled rich internet applications.
