Advisory Board

Doctations Inc. has two advisory boards. There is a board of medical advisors that consists of twenty-five physicians, one nurse and one physician assistant, and our Patient Advisory Board that consists of ten patients.

N.J.Tarricone, MD is the Director of the Physician Advisory Board. Dr Tarricone was born in New York City and is a lifelong New Yorker. After graduating from Chaminade High School in Mineola, he received his BS degree in Biology from SUNY-Albany. He then attended medical school at the UA de Guadalajara, earning his MD from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine 5PW program. Dr. Tarricone completed his residency in OB/GYN at The Brooklyn Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident in 1989-1990. In that year, he was awarded the research paper prize by the Brooklyn GYN Society. He has been in private practice on Long Island, NY since 1990. In 1999, he earned an MBA in Healthcare Administration from Hofstra University. Dr. Tarricone is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology, ASCCP, AAGL and American College of Physician Executives. He has appeared on ABC TV's "The View" as well as Television Food Network?s "Recipe For Health." He is past VP of The NY State OB/GYN Society and has published on HIV in Women and High Risk Pregnancy. Dr. Tarricone is married to Lisa Turri MD FACOG and has three sons. Dr. Charles Colangelo, of Middle Island and Fort Ann, NY, is the Director of the Patient Advisory Board. He was born in New York City and spent the major portion of his life in Nassau County, NY. Dr. Colangelo received an ME Degree from Stevens Institute of Technology along with Master's and Doctoral degrees from St. John?s University. He served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy during World War II, after which he worked as an engineer at the Long Island Lighting Company. He later moved to Nassau BOCES as Assistant Superintendent for Planning from which he retired and started his own legislative consulting firm representing the Towns of Hempstead, North Hempstead, and Oyster Bay, as well as several other clients. Throughout his career, Dr. Colangelo has been active in community activities and is past President of the North Merrick and BOCES school boards. He is past President of the MHA of Nassau County and the NY State MHANY. He served as President of the Fort Ann Town Planning Board for five years. Currently, Dr. Colangelo serves as an Arbitrator for the NYSE and the NASD. He is married to the former Mirium Looney from Wantagh, N.Y. Dr. Colangelo can be reached at ccolangelo@doctations.com.
